  • "It's been several months since I've bought my new bike. I got it for a reasonable price after some negotiating. I spoke to two people in sales, and they're both good people. Chris finalized the deal for me, and I couldn't be happier. The financing rate is competitive. The service department is always pleasant experience. They don't try to push unnecessary services, and worked with me when I asked them to take a look at my other bike as well. They combined the service charge into one bill under the same hourly rate. Saved me the extra hour I would have been charged if I had brought the bike in separately. I don't expect this every time I go, but it was a nice gesture at the time. I'll be sure to keep coming back!"

  • "Honda of Sumter has the price on the bikes that you have to negotiate to get at other dealers. Due to it's long standing ownership, they are more than willing to talk to you like an person, and not treat you like a number. I now live in Ohio, and can order my parts from this Honda dealership and pay less after shipping than I can do local. That says something. The lead salesman does not look at you differently just because you have never purchased a bike in the past from him, and does not hold it against you if you don't in the future. That's what makes him great. He doesn't push! I am loyal to this Honda for life!"

  • "I bought my 2008 GL1800 premium sound Goldwing here at Honda of Sumter. I was not able to find a reasonable price locally (Warner Robins Ga) until I spoke with Chris May of 08'. He was professional new exactly what I needed (considering I was flying in from St. Louis that day). The bike was ready and waiting for me, accessories bolted on for free and new helmets for thew wife and I. Here I am 5 years later and I still brag to everyone I meet on this shop, I yet to find a Honda dealer as courteous and helpful as this staff. I recommend to all I speak with to go to Honda of Sumter SC. When I'm ready for a Trike I'm heading your way guys. Again thank and please accept my appoliges for not commenting earlier."

  • "I have purchase and enjoyed many bikes from this dealer . my recent purchase of a new GL 1800 in may 2011 has been great, however illness forced me to trike it out or stop riding. Sumter Honda did a super job installing a slick Champion trike kit , paint was matched to a tee and Chris saved Patrcia and I money by quiding us thru the build. Knowing I was sick even delivered it to my home no charge !"

  • "The Sales Manager Chris and ALL of the staff were the best!! We had an excellent and rewarding experience with any dealership ever! There was a couple all the way from Las Vegas that needed emergency repairs and had been to a few other dealerships before they got assistance from Sumter. They worked on their bike right away and got them happily back on the road to DC asap for the Thunder Rolls Memorial Day ride! We had two options of dealers to work with that had the same 2010 Honda Sabre we were looking at. Both dealerships were 2.5 hours travel time away. One of the dealers was Honda of Winston-Salem in NC and the other was Honda of Sumter in SC. The Winston-Salem dealer had a special low price, but after reading their Google reviews, we were a little concerned about doing business with them. We wanted a walkout price just a little cheaper, so we called both places to see what each dealer was willing to work on with us. Chris at Sumter knew his business!! Honda had special incentives and loans that Chris applied on the phone price. Not only did he tell how he was able to give us the price we wanted through Honda's existing sales program, he also informed us that we would get an additional $600 in flexible bonus bucks for accessories. I called Honda of Winston and had such an unbelievably horrible phone call experience with their Sales Manager, that between both the good and bad experiences we were inspired to write reviews for both dealerships. There were no hussles at Sumter, Chris was true to his word. He let us loose with his parts manager, Anthony who spent hours with us on our flexible bonus purchases. It was like Christmas! We got a removable windshield & brackets, saddlebags & brackets, and a theft alarm. Since we were getting the bike with them, they also gave us a screaming deal on two Bluetooth enabled helmets; which we were in the market for as well. Their pricing is competitive with online suppliers for parts and accessories. He discussed future changes, options and pricing with Anthony; which again were competitive. The time they spent with us and their service has paid off with our dedication to this dealership. Based on our experiences, would we ever recommend Honda of Winston? Heck no!! Will we be driving 2.5 hours for parts and service with Honda of Sumter, when we have a dealer 2 miles down the road? Heck ya! Thanks, Honda of Sumter! Your devoted new customers!"

  • "Recently I took my 2010 Goldwing Trike in for a new front tire. While they had it in the back I asked if they could check the shocks because they seemed to be bottoming out at times. They junped right on it and siad that there was a problem with the shocks. I informed them that I was going on a trip to Washington, DC fopr Rolling Thunder and since my wife was riding wiht mt that far for the first time I really need them fixed. After finall getting in touch with Champon the shocks were shipped overnight, at my request and my expense and Jimmy, Brian and Allen and probally others worked so hard to make sure that the trike was ready for our Washington trip. The service at Honda of Sumter is as good as it gets. THey treat you like family and do what they need to to make it right. Thank you so much for getting us on the road."

  • "I recently purchased a 2010 Goldwing Trike from Honda of Sumter. This is the 2nd Trike that I have bought from Chris. The entire staff was so very helpful with any and all questions that my wife and I had. After the purchase the entire staff took their time and explained everything to my wife and I. I previously owned a VTX 1300 trike but upgraded to the Goldwing. The ride home was everything I thought it would be.   • "Since 2004 I have purchased 4 Honda ATV's from Honda of Sumter and to be honest, I wouldn't buy anything else but a Honda and I wouldn't buy it anywhere else but Honda of Sumter. I've shopped some other brands of atv over the years but kept coming back to Honda every single time. I've shopped around at many other Honda dealerships and the price, service, service after the sale, inventory of atv's simply can't be beat by anyone! Honda of Sumter even matches the prices of that place in Chattanooga everyone is always talking about. If you are in the market for a new or used tv do yourself a favor and check out a Honda, and if you decide to check out a Honda, check it out at Honda of Sumter.
